WMP11 adds mystery files to music folder?
I'm having the opposite problem of WMP not adding files I want added to the library. How do you add the files manually? I only seem to be able to add folders to the I can't stop wmp 11 from searching for media to put in the library. When I delete everything from the library I get a small message saying wmp is

How can anyone use this shit. WMP11 is at LEAST 100% better. So say you have a directory called Music on your computer. You have in there all the groups in folders, and all their albums in sub folders. You sync that with the library then the ipod. Then later you add some more files to that directory.

And all (that I have tried) tracks (those that have I can't get WMP to add all the mp3 files in the MyMusic folder. WMP gone from All Programs
Hi folks, WMP11 will not add folders to the monitored folder list, it won't search for files, it doesn't add files i play with WMP and whenever i start If i uninstall 11, the original WMP will work fine. I don't think the web site newsgroup front-end is awesomely functional right now, but don't know a lick about it. You'd want to contact actual support (I have not yet moved to WMP11), there is the bizarre situation that WMP can as standard _play_ 16bit AIFF files, but will not let you add them to it's library
