Problem with RIFF tags in audio ripped with WMP11 x64
It would appear that this glitch is somehow connected to the update from WMP10 and WMP 11. Didn't you say above that you can't see them in Add/Remove programs ? No If they're missing from that list, *and* you've got a Programs not a Program Files directory, I'm really thinking again that you're on Vista.

Cannot add to library.
Almost 18000 mp3 files in the F:\MyMusic folder but WMP11 would only find and add to library about 5000. Couldn't find anything unique about files not added. I can't get WMP to add all the mp3 files in the MyMusic folder. After I had ripped a number of new albums (using a 3rd party software that I always use)

Clearing Music From Library in Windows Media Player 11
How do people even add songs to their library they purchase or download. It's the most retarded system ever. Why can't they just check the directories for changes and update accordingly like a real media program would do? Apparently unless you give Apple complete control of your system to manage files it just fucks

Help! I can't add files to my library
So in WMP11, all of these great Add to Library options are missing and all we are left with is the monitored folder option. I simply can't understand why this functionality was removed from WMP11. If I don't use WMP11 to rip a CD or otherwise add files to my library, I must rely on the monitored folder to pick it
